Widely used in clinical hematology as well as various kinds of blood cell test instruments. It makes use of EDTA K2/ EDTA K3 as an anticoagulant. Meanwhile, it offers comprehensive protection for blood cells, especially for protecting the blood platelet, so that it can effectively stop the gathering of blood platelet and makes the form and volume of blood cells uninfluenced for a long time. EDTA tube can be used in direct sampling analyzers without actually being opened.

How To Use

Instructions
1
Place patient's arm in a downward position and clean venipuncture site with alcohol.

Apply tourniquet.

Remove the upper cover of needle and assemble the needle in holder; Perform venipuncture with arm downward and tube stopper upper-most.

Push tube onto needle, puncturing stopper diaphragm.
5
Release tourniquet as soon as blood appears in tube.

Remove tube from holder when first tube has filled to its stated volume and blood flow ceases.

Turn the filled tube upside-down and return it to upright positions; repeat inversion according to additive performance.

Place succeeding tubes in holder, puncturing diaphragm to begin flow.

As soon as blood stops flowing, remove needle from Vein, applying pressure to puncture site with dry sterile swab.
10
Dispose the needles into Sharps Disposal Containers according to guidelines.
